Meet Allison Green
Allison Green is originally from Belize in Central America but is currently residing in the US. Her educational and professional experiences in International Affairs have been challenging, varied, and gratifying altogether over the last eight years. She received her MA in International Studies from National Chengchi University in Taiwan, Republic of China, and she is now pursuing a MAS in Humanitarian Health from Johns Hopkins University. Her work includes managing the HIV/TB project at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)-Global Fund (GF) Belize and thereafter transitioning to the Consulate General of Belize in New York. While she is presently working in a diplomatic capacity, she is a Project Manager by profession. Allison is passionate about changing the health outcomes for those most vulnerable through her work in HIV/AIDS in developing countries. Her intention is to shortly begin working in conflict and disaster contexts in the area of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights focusing on HIV/AIDS, menstrual health, and the socio-political, cultural & traditional determinants impacting outcomes for the marginalized populations in these contexts.
